Jacksonville Boosters Foundation


The Jacksonville Boosters Foundation was established in 2003 as a tax-exempt, 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation. The primary mission of the Jacksonville Boosters Foundation is to preserve Jacksonville’s history and enhance its livability. It does so by providing financial support for the restoration, preservation, maintenance, and improvement of both public and nonprofit owned facilities in Jacksonville, Oregon. We also provide gifts/grants for the advancement of the arts to both public and nonprofit organizations in Jacksonville.

Your donations allow the Foundation to continue to provide funding for projects of the Jacksonville Boosters Club. The Foundation also provides grants to other local civic and non-profit organizations whose projects support the Boosters mission. Your contribution is tax-deductible as described on your receipt and to the extent allowed by law.

The Jacksonville Boosters Foundation has provided over $457,000 in grants and funds for projects in Jacksonville. This includes nonprofit grants to Friends of Jacksonville's Historic Cemetery, Historic Jacksonville, Inc., Friends of St. Joseph’s, the Jacksonville Community Center, Jacksonville Woodlands Association, Britt Music and Art Festival, Art Presence Art Center and Jacksonville Fire Department. JBF Contributions to Jacksonville, Oregon

From 2011 through December 31, 2023, the Jacksonville Boosters Foundation has provided over $457,000 for Club projects and grants to nonprofits and publicly owned entities in Jacksonville, Oregon.

2011-2023 and Ongoing

  • Peter Britt Gardens: installation of paver walkways, signage, plantings, irrigation system, LED lighting plus the Marjorie Edens and Stan Lyon memorial plaques, tree removal and fountain repair. Weekly maintenance since 2015.

  • Jacksonville Elementary School (2013 forward): annual spring musical event

  • City Benches: purchase and maintenance of benches in downtown Jacksonville

  • City of Jacksonville – Fence repairs on driveway by library;
    Nunan Square Pergola repairs

2022

  • Friends of Jacksonville Historic Cemetery: installation of storyboards, storage shed and new gutters for storage shed
