Membership
Membership in the Jacksonville Boosters Club is open to any person, or company, interested in promoting and providing for the general welfare and improvement of the City of Jacksonville, Oregon.
Boosters offers three categories of membership and dues:
Individuals - $25 per year
Couples - $50 per year
Businesses - $40 per year
Dues are payable upon joining the Club and renewed annually in September. For members joining after March 1, your dues will carry forward and not require renewal the following September. Membership allows participation in all our events, including socials and annual parties. Members qualify for significant group-rates on Mercy Flights air and surface ambulance services.
Business members receive special listings in the annual Directory and features in the Club Newsletter.

Welcome to Boosters
Volunteer
Booster members who are interested in participating in the various projects and activities that are scheduled should contact the Committee Chair or Project Manager for information. A listing of Committee Chairs is found in the Membership Directory. Descriptions of the various committees are listed below.
Boosters Fly the Flags
The Boosters place U.S. flags in downtown Jacksonville and Veteran's Park on federal holidays and other appropriate occasions. Volunteers meet to raise and lower the flags. The Club stores and maintains the flags during the year.
City Benches
The Jacksonville Boosters Club and Foundation provide and maintain many of the benches located throughout Jacksonville. Benches are found on California Street, Oregon Avenue, and at Doc Griffin Park. Volunteers stain, repair, and replace benches as needed.
Peter Britt Gardens Clean up and Restoration
Working with the City of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Boosters Club and Foundation is renovating Peter Britt Gardens. The white picket fence constructed along 1st Street at the main entrance to Peter Britt Gardens was a Booster Project as well as the ADA accessible paver walkways. Annually, at least 2 clean- ups, plantings, shrub pruning, leaf removal parties are held at Peter Britt Gardens, the original home site of Peter Britt.
Home/Garden Tours
Every other year during May, the Jacksonville Boosters Club, working with the Jacksonville Garden Club, conduct home and garden tours. Volunteers take tickets, greet attendees, and act as home docents providing information on the history of the homes and gardens.
Doc Griffin Park
The Booster Club has restored and stained the restroom and picnic facilities at Doc Griffin Park.
Cemetery Clean Up
Jacksonville Boosters Club members volunteer and participate in a quarterly clean up at the Jacksonville Historic Cemetery
